Calm Minds, Happy Hearts
Supporting Your Child’s Emotional Wellbeing
This workshop is designed to help parents to better understand their children's stress and anxiety.
We will explore the roots of emotional overwhelm in children and teach practical, science-backed techniques to help them to gently soothe their nervous system and build emotional resilience.
Parents will leave equipped with strategies to strengthen their connection and empower their child to navigate big feelings with confidence.
Perfect for parents of children aged 2-12 who want to foster a calmer, more connected family environment.
The workshop blends science-backed information, interactive role-play, and hands-on practice to enable parents to feel confident to apply what they’ve learned to real-life situations with their children.
Workshop Benefits
Parents will understand the root causes of stress and anxiety in children.
Learn practical, easy-to-use calming techniques.
Develop confidence in managing emotional outbursts.
Build a stronger emotional connection with their child.
Gain tools to create a calmer, more supportive home environment.
The workshop ends with a soothing, multi-sensory visualization designed to help children become calm and find their safe space.
The guided sensory visualisation draws together the four key techniques which I have found to be the most effective in working one-to-one with children in my private practice.
Teachers will receive a recording of the guided visualization to play each morning in the classroom.
Research shows that consistent practice over time helps lower anxiety thresholds and broaden childrens’ windows of tolerance, equipping them with the resilience to navigate challenges with greater ease and calm.
